Changing your mind

If you are a consumer buying online, you may cancel your order without giving a reason. You must tell us within 14 days after the day you receive the goods.

To cancel, email info@tom-kat.co.uk and include your name, order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. You may use the cancellation form at the end of this policy, but you do not have to.

After telling us that you wish to cancel, you must send the goods back within a further 14 days to:

Please include your order number inside the parcel. We recommend using a tracked service and keeping proof of postage.

Return postage for change-of-mind returns

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods when you have changed your mind. We do not charge a restocking fee.

Condition of returned goods

You may handle the goods only as much as you reasonably could in a shop to establish their nature, characteristics and condition. We may reduce the refund if handling beyond that has reduced the value of the goods.

Refunds after cancellation

For a valid cancellation, we will refund the price paid for the returned goods. If you cancel the whole order, we will also refund the cost of our standard delivery service. We do not have to refund any extra cost paid for a more expensive delivery option.

We will make the refund to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving acceptable evidence that you sent them back, whichever is earlier. Depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the credit to appear in your account.

Cancelling before dispatch

If you wish to cancel before your order has been dispatched, contact info@tom-kat.co.uk as soon as possible. If we can stop the shipment, we will cancel and refund the order without requiring a return.

Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods

If goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or not what you ordered, contact info@tom-kat.co.uk with your order number and details of the problem. Please include photographs where useful.

We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights. Where a return is required because goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed, TomKat Gas Training Limited will cover reasonable return costs or provide an appropriate return method.

Business purchases

The change-of-mind cancellation rights above apply to consumers. If you are purchasing wholly or mainly for business use, change-of-mind returns are subject to our prior agreement. This does not affect any rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods.
